Good to hear that.
That's excellent news, Hector. Now feed him some good ol' Mexican food I say fajitas for all! (If you could fax one, I'd be grateful )
Congratulations!
Thanks again guys! And yes, I see this as an answer to not only my prayers but a lot of other people's, including many here on UCP.
Since my dad has been retired for a while, he's been taking computer classes. Well, he's already talking about going back to class as soon as possible.
As far as his diet goes, naturally, he has a "soft diet" for now. Mexican food is heavy and spicy by nature. It's gonna be a while before he's eating fajitas again.
PS: Hi, I'm Hector's father, Gabriel. He's told me a lot about you all. I just wanted to thank you for the support you gave my son through these very difficult days and for your prayers and good wishes on my behalf. Goes to show there are many good people left in the world.
Great news and my best wishes for all your family. I am glad it has worked out , you deserve it.

This is fantastic news.

Hi Gabriel, we are all pleased when our support helps.
Hope you will soon be back to 100% and enjoying those fajitas again.
I'd told Hector before, my father's attitude was always to get back to being busy and active as soon as possible. He lived till his 80s and was on his second pacemaker and never let it change his lifestyle or enjoyment.

That's fantastic news, Hector and Gabriel (or Mr. Taz).

Hi everyone, Gabriel again. My son told me some were calling me Taz SR, that gave me a good laugh. Matra, thank you for your comments. It helps me keep hope that I'll be back to being my old self again. And I'm sorry for your loss, from what Hector tell me about you, I can see your father did a great job.
Doug, Hector has told me all you and Terry have gone through. I'm very happy to hear Terry is getting better day by day. God willing, she'll be back to 100% soon, you have my best wishes.
crisis, The_Canuck, SlickHolden, IBrake4Rainbows, john14 and the rest of you. As Hector tells me you guys say around here...you're too kind.
I'm new to the concept of an Internet forum. But after reading your posts on this thread and a few others, I can see why "Taz" enjoys spending so much time here. Cheers.
