Went for a drive on Sunday to the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Saw this gorgeous piece of machinery......... Homemade i think, but look at the straight classic lines and the flow of elegance.

Not sure if more were officially made or if this was a SA version or a recent chop job. EIther way nice
"A woman without curves is like a road without bends, you might get to your destination quicker but the ride is boring as hell'
That, I want. We had a P6 when I was a lad, until some $%$#& ignored a stop sign...
Life's too short to drive bad cars.
As far as i'm aware the P6 was never sold as a convertible but a prototype was made under commission of Rover , if i can find where i read it i will edit my post with the link.
Didn't take too long to find something along the same lines , this is not my original source tho. Rover P6 Convertible article
Reading at the bottom of the article the company Graber have been known to convert the odd P6 so it could be one of their making perhaps.

I think its a chopped car. The pix on Motorbase show a 2door and there is a softtop on the back. On this car was no roof and a 4door

It looks great, but it has the slight akwardness of, say, a DS cabrio.
btw Does it say V6 or V8 on the grille?
"Kimi, can you improve on your [race] finish?"
"No. My Finnish is fine; I am from Finland. Do you have any water?"
I know that car....I've seen it once or twice when I also went for a drive to Houtbay through Constantia...it looks even better in person...beautiful car...thanks for posting the pics...
Fo' Shizzle ...My Nizzle
I'm tempted to agree.
I just saw a coople of pictures on a website an the car is gorgeous.
But I'm suspicious since my Dad had one when i was a kid.
Citroën DS 21 Decapotable
Good information and pics.
I'm definitely fond of the styling, and the V8 Also, chalk it up to the exclusive list of 4-door droptops!

That Ds is nice with the curved body shape........the Rover impress me more with the straight and narrow lines, almost like a project, never to be developed
