Either. But can the 944 be a 951 instead?

Porsche. Just an altogether more fun and trackable car which looks good and costs very little. I feel the S4 has little defining character making it a bit bland.

More or less, yes. All the way from the original 3.6-litre engine fitted to the Audi V8 to the latest 4.2-litre engine fitted in the S5.

Winner two times over The_Canuck. I am not sure what I would pick honestly - I would bet the 944 outhandles the S4 but the 944 seems to have worse low-end acceleration. The question is does the 944 pick up in acceleration in the higher ranges?

The 300kg more the Audi aren't going to help in a race track. One is a sportscar and the other a fast saloon (and an Audi at that).

So you can drive? What do you drive?

I drive my parent's 2007 Mk 4 Canada only City Golf and our 2001 Acura TL. Previous to owning the Golf, we had a gorgeous Rosso Corsa 1993 Plymouth Voyager. I miss her.

No, because it was one important moment on Audi's history. The one which they almost started doing fine handling cars.

You've obviously not driven the RS4 or R8, Huggy.
Audi humbles Porsche. A new dawn starts today.
