A8 or XJ for me...7 series is terrible looking, you'd have to be insane to like the tailights.

It's not yet out, is it?

No you can't. It'd be too good for us Europeans and we wouldn't know how to apreciate it.

Same would be the case for the Lincoln.

LOL apparently not! Can't think of why though.

If it is only the 730d...then I've no real argument for any one car over the other.
Horsepower wins races. Torque pulls trailers.

Anyone can add a poll to their own thread. You just have to edit the original post and there will be an option to 'Add a poll to this thread'.

Out of those four, I'd personally opt with the Mercedes, but like others are saying, get the Quattraporte.

Eh, I'll go XJ on this occasion... saw an XJR today, it was rather nice indeed.

out of that list, i'd go with the audi or the jag as the MB's are rubbish and the BMW looks like ass.
however as someone said before the phaeton would be a nice option and i'm also all for jumping on the quattroporte bandwagon.

I live in Singapore and the cars here are pretty expensive.

But out of that list you posted I'd take the Mercedes. Why ? Basically for three main things. Quality, prestige and all of the market-leading technologies. The A8 and the 7 are magnificent cars as well and you should be thankful your parents can afford it, but the Mercedes is just ahead of them. The XJ is nice, but outdated.

I'd go out to the dealerships and have a go in these cars. Then decide... Who knows the Bimmer's ride might not suit you at all...or that of the Mercedes or the Audi...

Through the internet one can just shout-out opinions based on everyones personal opinion. And that opinion is 9/10 times made up from various bits of information found in the media. Aka as not very reliable. I can't imagine anyone has had the chance to drive anyone of those rides here.

I've been in a Quattroporte and in an XJ8 4.2. And while the Jaguar was just so comfortable, the Maserati gives you that extra something very few cars have.
