Would've loved to see the expression on your face after you looked up from a nice refreshing drink and realized the locals were busy mixing your drink upstream from you lol .

How did you get it featured in a web zine?

More importantly, why the hell does your Mom let you drive it?!

...the day? Really, for images showing off a darkish purple Porsche, night really isn't the time to do it.

Saw a 993 GT2 lookalike in race spec today, looked like it was running on rally/club plates and a similar body colour underneath all the stickers. Should've gone the 993 instead, looks #@%!ing fantastic.

    993 is overdone.

964 is retro chic. In purple. with Lasers attached.

    exactly.
the night time is best for viewing a purple porsche, so it looks less purple

everyone wants a 993 though so prices have just been going up getting one with the same kind of work done would be impossible, for any reasonable amount of money anyway.

as IB4R says, the 964 still has some of the whacky 80's styling going on.

I'm huge fan of the 993 too. Besides the original, the finest 911.

well steering column and tune is fixed by tomorrow morning. will spend the day evaluating it with my ass dyno before deciding if it needs another run on the rollers.

    agreed, unfortunately prices reflect this.
to get a 400+hp RWD etc 993 means forking out for a genuine GT2 or spending a lot of coin on a 993 C2 or similar, which involves, as they say, real money.
the 993 turbo still fetches decent prices but is AWD (yawn)
