If Diana Krall is what you listen to when you go nuts, I'd hate to give you a CD of QOTSA!

    DIAF.

On a sidenote- Word Up by Korn is my latest favourite driving song. Alongside Superstar by Saliva. That's an awesome tune!

Well I believe that driving music depends on a lot of factors: Time of day, weather, traffic conditions and destination. However, right my favorite driving music has been any CD from the band Local H, specifically today it's "Pack up the Cats."

A couple weeks ago I made a 20 hour drive and I had one of the best moments ever while driving: It was 4:30AM and the sun was just coming up and I was driving through downtown Chicago on the Edens Expressway. I was listening to Radar Love by Golden Earring which is probably my all time favorite driving song. The line "It's a half-passed 4 and I'm shifting gear" was true for me at that moment. It was awesome.

There is far too many songs that I like to listen to when in the car. I really listen to a Classic Rock station here on the radio and like hearing good rock out tunes when driving - AC/DC, Led Zeppelin etc, or whatever.

I also dig driving to ELP's classic interpretation of Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition". I have good memories of me and my buddy rocking out to their Blues Improvisation on the album. Good times.

Whatever album I am currently down with in Classic/Prog rock usually works as well.

Rise Against, Chevelle, Bush, Hot Action Cop, Zebrahead are the main culprits you'll hear in my car. Add to that some Three Days Grace, AFI and even the occasional Linkin Park when the mood strikes.

Parkway Drive - Smoke 'Em If You've Got 'Em.

I dare you to do the speed limit with that playing. Double Kicks and old-school metal solos ftmfw.

    Depends on my mood.

Normally it's Chili Peppers, Sublime, 311, Raconteurs, Stephen Marley and the like.

Today it was Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Hasil Adkins, Brian Setzer, Russell Scott and His Red Hots, Lee Rocker, and Brian Setzer's other gig, the Stray Cats.

If I'm in a hurrying mood, I'll do Linkin Park, or my mix from the TV show "The Shield"; Tantric, Crazy Anglos, Peyote Asesino, Damage Plan, and Kelis, among others.
An it harm none, do as ye will

Approximately 79% of statistics are made up.

Agreed I got the 'Return Of God - Paul Van Dyk' CD mix for my car a while back, and it's brilliant. No words, just pulse-pumping, adrenaline-rushing music. Perfect for late-night jaunts, listened to it all the way to the beach at 1 in the morning the other day.

    Someone Great - LCD Soundsystem
    Fake Empire - The National

I usually like listening to chill-type music while i'm driving....mostly because I'm almost always either speeding or stuck in traffic helps keep my heart rate down.
