Doesn't look like they made the interior as sporty as they did the exterior.

No, you can't. The LP640 has replaced the previous version of Murcielago. LP640 is not a pereformance variant of Murcielago, it's more like a Murcielago Mk2 - an updated and improved version of the car.

Please tell Lamborghini this then. As you can (as of last time I checked) still order a original car - but why anyone would is lost on me

Gorgeous looking car. What I want to know is how much it weighs...that could make or break it *hopes it'll be agile*.
    1695kg, apparently.

I think it's fine, altough I prefer the standard car exterior.

At the Lamborghini website, in the model range, you can find only the LP640. Automobili Lamborghini Holding Spa

Go to Lamborghini showroom, pull out large wad of cash order non-LP. You will not be knocked back.

Probably, but the point is they're not in production any more, ever since the LP640 appeared. Also the dealerships don't list the old Murci in their offer (apart from used ones of course).

Lamborghini builds to order - be it dealer stock or customer order. If you order a LP they build a LP, if you order a non-LP they build a non-LP.

As soon as someone wants a non-LP (don't know why they would) one will be built. This to me is not out of production, they way a Diablo is out of production as you can not order one.

I highly doubt it. The LP640 has modified body panels and mechanicals, so building an old specification car would be impractically expensive in this case. Of course, if you have enough money, you can order anyone to build you pretty much anything, but I'm talking about standard production not individual orders.

Last I was in Lambo Sydney I was told I could order either.

Unless your local dealer has told you otherwise I think I trust my source.
