Buick is a car of rather conservative image. Such cars were often driven by mid-class representatives - those who could buy some non-expensive Cadillac, but were too modest for this. As a rule, the most Buick owners were doctors or lawyers. This car were purchased in 1929 by the assistant to a people's commissar of an aviation industry Mihail Ivanov while being to the USA for a business trip. As the car appeared in USSR, it has been hidden in Ivanov's garage at a summer residence in Kratovo. Owner didn't ride it until 1973, because he was afraid the car would be confiscated. Ten years later he sold it to a collector and restorator Mihail Statsevich, which presented it to the museum.
