    Laugh at will - Ford Lightning(Gen I) v. Ford Thunderbird SC

    So, I've not owned a car in over 6 months. It's taking it's toll on my sanity, or whatever semblence of sanity I once had. I really need to buy a vehicle. I've not been able to make a decision. But I've been working on narrowing it down.

    Basically, it's come to two vehicles that my girl thinks are "trashy." That's actually a good thing as far as I'm concerned because she won't bitch at me to clean either of them; she probably won't get in either of them.

    Either of these will lead to tire smoking hooliganism, a fist full of tickets, a revoked drivers licence and an empty bank account.

    So which would you rather be called a redneck by the woman you love for driving?

    240 hp @ 4200 RPM

    the supercoupe! it's lighter, looks better, and seems just as fast/faster as the lightning but with a smaller (more insurance friendly and fuel efficient?) egnine. plus, it's manual.
    Surely it has some aftermarket goodies available to
    i don't think it looks too bad either...
