I actually like it. It's better than what we currently have here at least. Front looks a bit like the 04 European civic IMO.

Thanks for completely avoiding my argument.

My point is, cars are constantly getting bigger.

"claims" NCAP is the only target anyone measures claims against.
You can bet it will be 5-star !!!

See the Renault Modus head on crash to a Volvo that 5th gear did to adjust that opinion
Room to crumple is ok if comparing same materials and designs ... but using different materials and "better" design the same energy can be absorbed in a smaller space.
It's that kind of non-thinking that made US cars get bigger and heavier in the beliefe of "safety"

i agree with u that this car is too small. a few years ago this was the average size of cars in Pakistan but recently Honda, Toyota, Land Rover, BMW & even Rolls Royce have entered the market along with reconditioned cars from Japan, but these cars are too expensive because of high taxes.

Does Honda have any other cars that are smaller than the Fit over in Japan? With how big cars get there always seems to be a need to make a new smaller car, just like how VW needed to make the Polo to have a smaller Golf and then once the Polo got too big needed to make the Lupo and Fox.

    They might.

    Honda | クルマ

    Search to your heart's content.

I'm no expert at Honda's car lineup in Japan, so I can't help you here.

I definitely remember the Honda That's. That's probably the closest I'll get.

have you seen the new toyota iQ concept. its even smaller than the yaris (which is roughly the same size as the honda fit). if toyota produce it im sure honda will follow too. Cars may get even smaller in the near future.

I definitely look forward to more smaller cars in the future. I mean it just seems that cars in general are getting bigger all the time and gaining more weight in order to be "more safe" and then taking more enjoyment out of the driving experience.
