    The problem with the Netherlands is that in qualifying they play without any inspiration and during tournaments they somehow play good football.

    For me that's one of the reasons to never watch the team during qualifying.


    Plus somehow I believe that since Marco van Basten is the coach, the Netherlands got even more boring to watch...

    What about teams that were absolutely amazing in qualifying?
    Romania Croatia and Greece (urgh), played some great football.

    I hope they will do well in the competition... except for greece, i hope they crash and burn....

    you really can not know geography so much that's one of the biggest countries in the world... i'd understand if you were from US... so sad

    well it is sort of interesting that they are allowed to participate in the European section of FIFA, it is probably because they are bordering Russia directly. Not like Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, which participate in the Asian section. The location of their main stadium in Almaty, is further away than any of the four other countries I mentioned. But for that matter, Russia stretches all the way to the Bering Strait, so in theory they could have European matches in Vladivostok.....
