    Edo Ferrari 599

    Edo Ferrari 599

Recalibrated ECU, modified intake system, performance exhaust system and high-flow catalytic converters
    Realized output: est. 650 hp.

    edo/KW sport suspension
Racing suspension technology for the road with adjustable compression and rebound damping. Independently adjustable compression and rebound damping permits truly individual suspension setups. The unique system, with its three different adjustments, allows for low-speed compression damping characteristics to be altered while the highspeed settings, having a strong influence on ride-quality, remain constant.

    edo performance exhaust system
Newly developed high-flow exhaust system with electronic butterfly valve control (remote control to adjust the sound intensity available upon request).

Lokks better than stock, but still...

I'd like to see more of these type of cars being shown on tv shows, they hardly show on top gear or fifth geart, where are the Rufs, Gemballa, Carlson, etc, why don't they get the tv coverage? They sound as good or better than the "original".

    Wow, this car looks insane.

Looks like it wants to eat up the kids playing in the road or something.

FINALLY someone had the idea to give this slug some legs!

    Kidding.

This is idiotic. Having driven the 599 I can promise you that the car is SCARY fast without modification. In terms of look the only modification this car needs is the buyer to have the brains not to paint it red.

Having driven an Isuzu P'up 4x4 diesel, I can say it's SCARY slow. If really, really fast demands a premium, really, really, really fast demands moreso. The success of the Veyron proves this, I.T.Q.H.O..

The converse of the old racer's adage 'Speed costs money; how fast do you want to go?' is, obviously, 'Money equals speed; how much money have you got?'

Some folks have quite a lot, turns out.

Hunter S. Thompson might have captured it best with his self-penned eulogy: "It never got fast enough for me."

There are quite enough people who've bought tuning bits to make their Reliant Kittens faster, and there'll continue to be quite enough to cough up the cheese to make every other wheeled device faster.

    Ridiculous?
    Excessive?
    Hedonistic?
    Caligula-istic?

Certainly. But if any of us were satisfied with 'fast enough,' we wouldn't be here, rabidly commenting, would we?

    Squawk.
    I'm erudite ;-)
