    Photoshop Help!

Hey all, I need some quick help. I'm using Photoshop CS3 (Extended), and I need to change the colors on a picture. I need to change certain sections of the picture to purely red, yellow, and blue - is there a simple way to select a section, say, all white areas, and change it to all to red? Then select a different area, such as all black pixels, and change them to blue? I appreciate the help, thanks a lot.

Not really much of an expert myself, but I think that you can use the magic wand tool to select certain colors in an area/shape.

I'm sure others will be able to expand but that should get you started...

try this, Image > Adjustments > selective colour
make sure 'absolute' is selected for the method,
just choose the colour you want to change up the top and slide the bars till you get the colur you need,

or you can always go to select/color range
then selection /feather, so you won´t have any nasty edges to your colour changing

then anything on the lines of adjusting color balance, hue&saturation, or whatever you need.
