sooo, today we got the hood open finally... and the news just got horribly worse from there. i ended up busting my radiator fan as well, along with my radiator support which can only be replaced by removing many other parts resulting in a minimum labor cost of around $1500 excluding the parts of course.
i think i just might have the worst luck in the world.
BMW front end repair is not cheap. We just had a 06 in for a bumper/headlights/ rad support/ bunch of little parts, and it was around 5 grand. 0_o

I'd definitely try to find parts at a scrap yard if more problems come up.
You dont have the worst luck, your just over dramatising.
try buying a car for $6500 and having the engine die three days later and a cost of $4900 to replace. THATS bad juju

lol, good point. well, we took it to our mechanic today and found out its not all that bad... we NEED to replace the radiator support, and radiator fan blade. i found al that for about 200 bucks on eBay (there are no BMW's in any salvage yards around here) so hopefully well get it back to normal and body work will come later
