yeah, i find having someone as a sniper class is usually a reactive move - we only opt for it when they have snipers giving us trouble. support and demolition, that's what i play most of the time and try to keep everyone alive

I switch between assault, support, demo and specialist.. and fall back to sniper when we aren't under pressure from any vehicle - Or there is a squad moving in down a flank.

i suck at specialist, although i've got the best KDR with that class. support with the MG3 seems to work well on most infantry.

I use specialist when attacking - Due to the C4 on crates being a brilliant way to quickly knock down the bar. (so does Demo + rockets)

I'm really only on COD4 lately, but it'd be about the same

Most of my kills are on specialist. Its just a great kit.

Though lately have been using that, demo & assault. Reaching rank 25 unlocked a few nice weapons

I like the SPAS shottie more than the NS2000 to be honest.

I never was any good with it though. I don't like the semi-automatic shotguns any more than it.

true, but at least shotguns have a semi-realistic range in this game rather than the typical 3 feet in most games...
