My rice rocket side says MKIV Supra. But my thirst for adventure and back country road trips calls on the FJ Cruiser.

1998 - 1999 Toyota GT-One TS020 - Images, Specifications and Information
I have a 2001 Celica GT and it handles great in the snow. I live near Lake Tahoe and drive into Reno Nevada daily... 110 miles a day round trip. The car has 137,000 miles and still gets an average of 37mpg. I have never (*knock on wood) had to put chains on this car and have driven in plenty of snow. Make sure you have good tires and drive it slowly in icy conditions, it will break loose and spin. I would prefer to drive in a little snow vs. freshly plowed roads.

A true entusiast admits his brand`s faults while a bugler refuse them.

Toyota Celica ST185 Carlos Sainz Edition
I've only owned a few Toyotas (2 Camrys and 1 Corolla). I had a 5spd wagon version of the AE92. I really did like that car. I particularlly loved the way the shifter was angled towards the driver rather than being vertical like so many other cars. It was a wonderful beater car and I wish I still had it.
I don't see my self getting another Toyota any time soon. The current cars are just so blah and they seem to lack the honest solid feel of quality this generation of Corolla seemed to have. Oddly enough the next generation of Corolla was the first where Toyota adopted many of the cost cutting ideas they learned from Chrysler's Neon. We the consumer ended up with a next generation Corolla that was still a good car but somehow seemed less good than the last one.
PS: The goodness does not extend to the rust-o-matic exhaust system.
The 3.0 liter toyota supra, cheap, fast, and great for modifications
