Gas around here is getting to be CAD $1.3o/liter. It doesn't seem like much but I can still remember when 60 cent was a high price

Currently about £1.12 per litre at my local petrol station.
That works out about US$2.19 per litre, which I think is over US$8 per gallon if my hopeless maths is correct.

$4.60 or something like that for a gallon where i am.
UCP FTW!!!!!!!!!!!
petrol/fuel in stockholm is @ 13.3 (1.43 Euros/Liter)
deisel is more expensive @: 14.50 SEK (1.56 Euros/Liter)
its ridiculous, the government thinks that by raising fuel tax, they will save the environment, in a country of 9 million people, Beijing alone HAS NINE MILLION PEOPLE! and WHAt ARE THEY DOING?! NOTHING. Damn pansy moderate government.
The problem isn't just saving the environment anymore. World oil production is straining to keep up with demand and it could enter into a sudden decline at any point in the next decade or two. However if they could use that tax to subsidize what I suggested above good for them! Nonpetroleum gasoline? Drool!
im lookin at 3.80 per gallon of 89 octane and about 3.90 for 87 octane.
Diesel is hovering around 4.70 per gallon.
A woman goes to the doctor to figure out why she is having breathing problems...The doctor tells her she is overweight. She says she wants a second opinion...the doctor says, "your ugly".
Euro 95 goes for €1.63/liter.
Diesel €1.20/liter
Frying fat €0.00 if your local snackbar is good.
are you using "illegal" diesel? The normal consumer will have to pay about 1.35.
We have two types of diesel, basically different through a colored additive. The "red" diesel is allowed only for industrial purposes and agriculture (not road transport) while the normal diesel is taxed higher. In certain areas tax authorities regularly execute controls on your tank, because running red diesel is very attractive.
And for those who wonder why diesel is so much cheaper here than petrol, we have an intricate system of road tax, which levies a much tax on diesel powered cars, while also the sales tax includes an extra diesel amount.
The "low" tax on the fuel itself is meant as a stimulus for the haulage industry, which is big in Holland and has many international apsects as well.

Last time I checked it was that amount(not 100% sure of my memory this week), but yes we do use "red diesel" on our company. We modified the gas tanks to accompany the larger nozzles.. We try to fuel up as much as possible at the source, the Shell refinery, where we can get it at 0.50€/liter.
Red diesel definately is worth a try if you drive as much as we do.. The chance of getting caught is relatively small. Fines are heavy though, around 8€ per litre if your caught..
edit:
If you are interested, the various gas stations in the port serve this. The cars run just fine on it. You do need a special card, which can be ordered at the DCB gas stations.
Diesel = €1.419/liter
Petrol(RON95) = €1.655
RON98 =€1.709
Red diesel = €1.313
Anyone happen to know the price of AdBlue ?

I just worked out the other night that in my country, in a time-frame of 12 years, the price of petrol has gone up by more than 1000%.
Pretty ridiculous, but what can you do eh?
EDIT: Oh yeah, current price over R10/ liter.
$3.92 for 87 octane at the gas station here this morning.
...Utah! Get me two...
