I'd imagine the aero difference with the Fords and the new front suspension for the Holdens would weigh about equal in significance.

Yes maybe however the suspension change was some time previous to the VY, as much as 18 months. Holden did have a head start on Ford. The point I am trying to make is it IS abundantly possible that a team whether it be SBR or TKR or whoever, can find or even stumble upon the sweet spot of a new car using nothing more than a bloody good guess. That is why it is not inconceivable that any ford team can do this with the new car next year. These guys aren't complete dills (except maybe TKR jks), If they havent got it at Clipsal you can bet they ave it by the next round.
