Honda claims that it will kick ass, but then again any GT-R and/or Z06 will cost a fraction of the price... Can't wait for an official release so that we can get all the facts straight!!

Well, the way I see it, the ZR-1 would kick the Aston Martin V8 Vantage's ass as well, and the Corvette is probably half as expensive as that as well.

I see this car to be more of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage competitor than a ZR-1 competitor. Made in small enough numbers, it may work. And the official price isn't out yet anyway. So I'll worry about the price when it gets here.

it may be faster than the GT-R, but what happens when the GT-R V-Spec is realeased? Closer prices, what happens head to head. It won't do Acura any good to say their car is faster than the base GT-R, when Nissan comes out with a car that may or may not be faster and is still cheaper.

Agreed. Hopefully they'll work on a new name and release it as a brand new car, not a successor.... but as of right now, it is what it is. It wouldn't surprise me if they go as far as making paddle shifts the only option on the car

I meant the newer V8 Vantage, not the older ones. It probably would smoke that one. The Corvette is way cheaper. You don't see the Corvette killing it in sales.
