The system now is retarded. Then again you probably don't care because OU is in the title game. Cut the season from 12 games or so to 9, then have an 8 team playoff bracket.

That argument holds no weight because the college basketball season is like 40+ games including preseason tournaments and March Madness. The main reason why a playoff wouldn't happen is financial. The NCAA and schools get boatloads of money from bowl games.

why not just make the system like it was back a few years ago! that system worked great for so long...plus it made news years day that much more meaningful, plus you dont have to worry about coaches politicking untill after new years.

i think its completely rediculous for obama to be saying anything about college football other than cheering on his favorite team and the like. thats not his place, nor any politicians place to try to force change in college football.
