I happen to think it is very much in keeping with the old school method of design in the sense the proportions are very exaggerated.

Overall I think it's an improvement on the Z4 of old.

I like it but I still prefer the original Z4, its a bit more unique compared to this.

i was always a fan of the Z4, in coupe and cab versions. i like what i see on this picture. they took the grill from the concept CS, updated the sides to match the current BMW-wide styling theme, and made the headlights tons better. all in all an improvement.

hopefully they didnt screw up the back.

We all do. The butt is one of the most important parts.

It doesn't look bad from what can be seen. Looks like an improvement.

However I doubt they can imporve on the old one in terms of driving dynamics.

Looking forward to it, it look like it's going to be really good. Shame I can't say the same for the X6....

I liked the old Z3 M Coupe (more like a hatchback) and found the Z4 coupe just ugly. Maybe the new Z4 hardtop will be more like the breadvan Z3 coupe.

Also dont like the folding hardtop on the convertible (which might be the only one they make). Soft tops are just simpler and lighter for this kind of car

I liked both coupe versions actually. They both have their own style.

They might just weld the roof shut to make it a coupe.

    Simple and easy!

agreed about liking the M Coupe (as it was properly known at the time), but that design woudl not have fit on the Z4, and as this just looks like a refresh and not a new design, i doubt it would work on this one either. they could prove me wrong however.

the folding hardtop almost makes sense on the 3 series, but on the Z it surely does not.

This looks much bigger than the old Z4 and has a folding metal roof. I'm worried all this added weight will destroy the driving dynamics.

It also probably means no Coupe this time.

don't know, it seems good, but also less promising for as regards driving dynamics, it looks more "girly", so I'm not expecting razor blade handling and so on. something more "safe".

the Z3 Coupè (no matter of the engine) is still hit-able on a higher level
