Aston Vanquish vs. Bentley Continental GT

Early models of both are now selling for similar amounts in the UK. Both are 2 + 2 (if rear two are legless) and big 12 cylinder GTs. Which would you rather have ?

The Bentley is too flash and without any style.
The Aston is too flash but with plenty o' style.

Aston anyday. Only thing wrong with it is the horrendous gearbox that I keep hearing about.

I find the DBS to be the most visually appealing Aston of current generation models.

Of course Bentley is more pretty to look at, Aston's rear end isn't that beautiful. But Aston is more exotic in some locations if you know what I mean. I would have the CGT for the beauty of it.

Without any shadow of a doubt the Aston with the maunal gearbox conversion.

If you want a Bentley you might as well buy a proper one. Or if yo want a Continental GT, buy a Phaeton.

    this.

the Continental is a bastard child love with too many german chromosomes, is too heavy, it's owned generally by morons, soccer players and tasteless business men, and it's not even as exclusive as the name Bentley could suggest.

the Vanquish on the other hand has everything the Continetal doesn't have.
    easy choice.
