What you need is something so unbelievably uncool that its cool. I'm in the same boat as you (because of insurance) and I know its damn hard to find something interesting and good to drive. What you need is something from the 1980's, from Japan, with a tiny engine (revs) and no weight. These things all fit your criteria well. What you need my friend is one of these you'll be laughing from the other side of your face when you go around corners on the door mirrors with the valves dancing on the bonnet.
