    Is it still front wheel drive?

    I am not too sure about having an entire V8 ahead of the front axle;
    understeer here we come!!!

    I also assume they didn't keep the original VW gearbox.

    I can describe the sound for them:
    It sounds like a Northstar V8.
    Thanks for all the fish

    it says on the website that it's a 6-speed (definitely not VW standard)

    Yes, of course This Northstar was FWD in the Caddies that it came from, too. You can see that it's transversely mounted from the pictures

    If it is FWD, I dont see why they would go with such wide wheels in the rear

    Oh dear. I only asked because I didn't think they would be that stupid.

    I quite liked this at first, but the more I hear the worse it gets.

    It has 300 Bhp through the front wheels, which will give really bad torque steer.

    The engine is mounted ahead of the front axel, which lends itself to really bad understeer.

    Those tyres don't look to good either, why 7" at the front and 9" at the back?
    Some effort to get it to go round corners?

    Ha! the only Northstar car that was sold over here was the utterly crap Cadillac STS. I think they sold one.
    Thanks for all the fish

    Cedric - I sound like a chipmunk on there. Some friends of mine were like, "were you going through puberty?" I was like, no I was already 20, I just sound like a girl.
