iirc, the Diablo got the "Iota" moniker, and if the full package is adopted, the car isn't even road legal anymore.........who cares?!

Indeed. The SE was the 30th anniversary edition that Lambo sent out a while back. From there people had the optional upgrade to the Jota package, which included an engine retune, the two roof mounted air scoops (which also meant the rear view mirror got removed), free flow exhaust (which made it street illegal in most countries), and all syncromesh 6 speed box.

If I remember only 12 cars were delivered as Jotas, but more kits were made for owners of SE cars. Less than 30 although I don't know for sure.

    (Is it spelled Iota?)

I thought only 12 Iota' exist, period, no further kits.
And yes, the Diablo is Iota, the Miura is Jota.

The epitome of French sports cars in the 90s.
( and it handled better than all the 911s of the day according to all tests at the time.
BUT it came from a Renault deleaership so the "image" was weak )
That car is so cool in not being cool I'd love to own one, i remember looking at one when i was like 10-11 or something. Straightaway i googled it on our windows 95 shitbox.. By the way, got a ride in a A110 last week! Found one in my small town!

    A force-inducted 993 of some sort.
Best looking 911 and last hurrah of the aircooled.

    Diablo is too '80s looking.
    355 is too boring looking.
Viper should have more power or a V8 and I don't like Viper drivers.
    Prowler...

I insist the right spelling is Iota, as Lamborghini uses this spelling on their site.

I loved the Prowler when it first come out, and I still think it's way cool today. I would love to own one. However, if I had to choose between a Prowler and a Ferrari F355, I'd choose the Ferrari.

Since we're talking nostalgia here, the Ferrari that really started my love affair with the brand was the Testarossa. I wouldn't say no to a 348 either.

It was between the 993 GT2 and the 355. I went with the Ferrari.

    You are shit.

Everyone that chose the F355 is right, everyone that chose anything else is wrong, so props to the F355 fans out there.
