Thread: Tuning a high litre car to consume less fuel?

    what is considered expensive fuel mileage? i find it's not hard to get 10L/100km from a 40 yr old 2.7L

    If you just tune it to run well and maintain it nicely (clean carbs, regular oil change/plug cleaning etc, keep the tyres properly inflated, all that good stuff) you'll get as good or better results from driving it economically than modifying it extensively, at least in terms of cash saved.
    Life's too short to drive bad cars.
