If you listen to a guy like this farm owner and you do a simple calculation on the plans that he's got...this man will be about a thousand years old when he completes all the projects.
What really will happen here is when he puts his head down, his wife will call the local scrap metal dealer to clear the farm and then sell the land, and the next husband will enjoy the benefits.............

After meeting up with the owner, he still maintain that he will be rebuilding all the vehicles and stash them into a museun on the R63, a road leading to heaps of small towns driving from Cape Town.

What worries me is the man is already almost 75 yrs old.....how old is he gonna be when all these projects are finished??

In the fisrt of the pix is an old Fordson Super Major 4x4 tractor, which he still use from time to time
yes m also wondering the same hw long it ll take to complete d project

It's a shame these vehicles will never see the road again. Maybe just slip your contact info to the wife and say "Before you call a scrap yard, call me and we'll see if we can work out a deal for some of these cars"

It's a shame that people sometimes aren't realistic about stuff like this. If only he could sit back and say "You know, I'm 80 years old, I don't have much time left and I haven't gotten halfway through this project and I probably never will, I should just sell these to this nice young chap who will see through my vision rather than sell them for scrap or something"

I have seen this situation a couple of times and normally the owner is a stubbern old bastard that would not allow anyone near his cars...and you're right, he is about 80 yrs old and do not have a lot of time left...

I haven't actually seen this car in person but I saw this on a website and thought this would be pretty interesting. An abandoned Detomaso Pantera and in the background of a few of the pictures, a Lamborghini Espada. I think the photographer took the car home with him judging by the last picture.
