i'd prefer a tribute RS. most of the price these days is just having that chassis number... a tribute or clone is all the fun without the cost.

My choice was, money no object of course.
If price was a factor all I can afford at the moment is a beater 944. Probably.

I might be able to scare up enough for a 924, so you're doing better than me!
I don't care if it has electric windows. I don't care if the door gaps are straight, but when the driver steps on the gas, I want him to **** his pants! - il Commendatore
Well if I sold the boat for what I bought it, and then spend everything I have in the bank in the car I think I could buy an early 2.5 litre 944 with about a million miles in the odo and rust everywhere...

What a blessing to live in Germany where Porsches are affordable (kinda) .

Dream ride: red 1971 Opel Commodore GS/E
You certainly see them everywhere. I wouldn't necessarily say they are more affordable though lol. I suppose its not near as much of a pain in the arse to have them serviced and maintained as it is in other places. Where I live, I'd have to drive near half the length of all of Germany to get to the Porsche store. In that sense, the car is more affordable in Germany. That said, I'll still buy one eventually . I'm going to visit the old country on the 13th here, so I look forward to getting a heavy fix for my car addiction. That new Porsche museum is a gem.
The Porsche any day because it will start. In the 4 months I had my vantage it had too many problems and breakdowns and it wasn't even that quick. For example, in the winter, I left it for two days and it the battery was completely dead afterwards; yet my '89 Speedster's battery was fine after over a week in at the same time.
^^^ You say you own a 911 and Ferrari and had a vantage, can you post pictures and prove you own them.
Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you."
