If that wasn't a design by Bizzarrinni then I have no clue who did.

The Design was by Ercole Spada, who was at that time, the Designer of Zagato. Zagato modified the TZ-1, to put a 1300 Giulietta Engine in it.
The Problem of the TZ's in general was, they had to compite against more powerful cars in the 2 liter class, like Porsche 904, or 906. So no chance, only class wins. Same with the Tipo 33, everybody moved up to 3, or 5 liter and Alfa to 2 liter.
But they died in Beauty. For me the most beautiful racing Cars, of their times, with exeption of the Dino 206 S, and when you look at the price development in the last years, Beauty is more Important, than Racewins. (Funny?)
Here is another example, from a different time
As far as i know the TZ2 was designed by Carlo Chiti and Autodelta, Zagato only did the coachwork (the body). And it was also fitted with the 1600 ccm 170 bhp GTA engine, not the 1300ccm.
The Chassis Designer was for both TZ Guiseppe Busso, and it startet in 1959, when Chiti was working with Ferrari. His first Job, with Auto-Delta, was to fit these Cars, race and develop these. Chief Designer was Busso. Zagato did both Bodies and Elio whished to put the 1300 Engine. This never happened.
What a gorgeous car, reminds me a lot of the Cobra Daytona from the side profile.
