Anyone else going to be there this year?

again, unfortunately not, we will do the Goodwood Press Days, next wednesday...and then one week later Technoclassica in Essen.

Floridia is a bit of a drive from here...
Too far away from me...
Too bad Henk, but can't say your schedule is dull... very nice and we appreciate the coverage.
I was hoping some that have gone in the past would make it this year.
Dino, Johnny?

csl, you wanna send some plane tickets my way?
I'll be there right away in that case!
I'm there now, first time that I have arrived before Saturday.
Went to downtown Fernandina to wait for the annual car prarade which was led by 8 of the 11 GTO's that will be there Sunday. Awesome sight to behold, and hear!
Then we drove over to the Ritz to view the test drive cars and cars for auction. First time seeing a McLaren 12C in person, not impressed.
The hybrid XC16 Jag is there, nice looking.
I have a dozen or more friends that will be here for the weekend as part of the already large crowd seen today. Probably going to be a record year.
Sorry to have missed meeting other UCPers there... big crowd, great show. Will post a pic thread.

Great show!
It is evolving into something different these days with more manufacturer displays around the greens.
I test drove a Jaguar XK-R.....what a nice and fast car. The power is instant and brutal...and the paddle shift worked great on up and downshift. Quality of the car inside and out was very good. Makes my Nismo Z feel very slow.
Three days of it was a bit too much....brain fried from automobile overload. Good thing we threw in some side trips...we piled in the car like teenagers and drove to Ft. Pierce for a Roger Hodgson(Supertramp) concert on Thursday night at a quaint 1200 seat hall. Got back to Jacksonville at 2am. lol.
We also visited the Catty Shack big cat rescue and stopped at the Okefenokee for a tour on the way back home to north Georgia.
Only regret is not getting to see the Porsche collection which was auctioned at the Gooding sale. With everything else going on we didn't really investigate where they were going to be and assumed they would be going through RM at the Ritz.
