Even if they don't handle as well as mid engine ones, people buy front engine Ferrari cars because of the way they look.
Strangely enough it has been easier to get more raw power and even top speeds out of front engine Ferraris.

Lamborghini, Pagani, Koenigsegg should get back to how mid-engine began Transverse mid engines like in the Lamborghini Miura
It allows a longer nose, and longer noses sell big. Maybe because it clearly depicts a man intention with women?

Miura long nose

Mercedes SLR McLaren and Lexus LFA look so good because they have long noses.

They can even use twin transverse engines ala Cizetta V16 to move engine backwards even between the rear wheels while allowing for an actually longer gearbox.
Thus avoiding V12+ developing costs by just taking to V6 or even small V8s from lesser cars and just tuning them.
