Here are the rules to get one of these.
It takes €2,2m (+ local taxes) and a long history with Ferrari to join the XX development programme. Ferrari won’t sell it to collectors or speculators, meaning there’s an obligation to get involved and drive the car.
For your money, you get to attend seven driving events at circuits around the world over a two-year period, driving the cars hard and feeding back to Ferrari as a bona fide test driver. In between events, Ferrari will store the car for you.
Once you’re done with your initial two years, Ferrari will extend the plan for a fee. Or you may sell your place in the XX programme to someone else.
So, you become effectively a de-facto Ferrari test driver?
What a shame I don't have the 2 mill+...
Lack of charisma can be fatal.
Visca Catalunya!
But what will happen after the extended period. What happened to the Enzo fxx , can you still partake with one of those, or do they become your property after a few years?

At least for 2015 season, Enzo FXX continues to be part of the XX development programme.
On the other hand, there are at least two FXXs that have been converted to road legal use. Looks like few of them have left the nest and moved onto life on their own.
