Which is Your Favorite Car ever and why?

This is a very simple question… which is your favorite and why. You can pick only one (I know its not easy but think hard) which is the one car that makes you smile and wander off into heaven.

Mine is the Maserati 3200 GT spider.

Mine is(as you may very well be able to see) the Chevrolet Corvette. I love it simply b/c it can hang with or beat many cars much more expensive than it. It all started in 3rd grade when I saw my first Vette(a 68-69 Triple brown vert) and the passion has been undying ever since.

Mine is also the Corvette. I'm older and drove a 63 split window. Now my daily driver is a 2000 C5 Coupe. 0-60 in 4.8 and smooth as silk in traffic. Had it at 165 and can take 90 degree corners at 70+.

The C6 is available this fall. 0-60 in 4.1 for about the same price and less weight.

    Wait for the C6 Z06 in 2005. 500 HP/500 pounds torque with a curb weight of 2800.

welcome, I like the early 'vettes. Any pics to share on UCP ??

BUT, to say 90 degrees means nothing. The road might be 6 lanes wide and the turn 1/2 mile long. Radius is usually the metric used. But even it's a 'falsity' as it doesn't take into account weight transfer before and after a corner and the impact it has on the subsequent stability.

True, he should have been more specific, but ill help out since he hasnt replyed yet. Unfortunetly the only Corvette i had a chance to fly around corners in was a 92 C4. We took a 90 degree turn at 50mph without having the tires squeel at all. This road was about as wide as the C4 is long, and the turn was truly 90 degrees.

Havent heard of any problems in either Australia or the US in the LS1. I often see some pretty high milage LS1 still being raced and no problems at all.
