    BMW M6 Unveiled!!!!!

Apologies if the pics are a repost, i searched the forums and found nothing on it.

after some searching on the net i managed to track down this video of the M6 in testing!

vid type is quicktime, apologies for the quality i had to recompress it and cut it down cause of the silly 2mB upload limit....

now most importantly, what do you guys think of it???

personally i like the look of the Hamann 645ci better, but the performance of the M6 sounds pretty amazing...

this looks like the M5 and the M6 will always be in close competition, however im expecting the M6 to be just a little better. i happened to have just watched the full size video here maybe 10 minutes before you made this thread.

    looks pretty damn beastly

I prefer the Hammann version my self, Much more sportier looking and more aggresive looking. Would like to see some performance figuires.

I like the looks of the Hammann also, but if you can afford an M6 you can always get a Hammann body kit.

It does look sort of like a 6 series. BTW, I did see the old version of the M6.

You mean the Hamann 6 series, not the M6.

Nice, but i have one question:is the "M6" in image named M6 02 really a M6 or, is it a standard BMW M6 in the picture? ps concentrate on the wing mirrors and the side grille(on the M6)

I think that it is a pretty nice ride. I bet it sounds brutal and packs a major punch. As far as styling I think that the german car manufacturers are moving slightly away from the tradition German car look. I think that the designs that they have now are great but I think that they are sorta losing that distinct design that made a German car stand out. I do like the M6's rear...it is very european.

Supposedly it will have more power than the M5 - 550bhp, and there could be a super stripped-out lightweight CSL, as a Porsche 911 rival.

That depends on whether the plans for a new model, specifically targetted at the 911 market, are given the green light.
    Thanks for all the fish
