    Ferrari 575 handling GTC

    Has anyone heard of the Ferrari 575 handling GTC and know what the difference is between this and the regular 575.

    I have a few pictures of it.

    Not heard of it.

    The GTC itself is a race special version of the 575 with substantial suspension, aero and engine changes.

    I suspect that the "handling GTC" might be a purchase option for 575 owners to upgrade the suspension of thie road car to the race version.

    Don't see anyone trying to make the aero package road legel and I doubt anyeon could afford the service costs and run-up/run-down requirements of the race engine to consider doing that to a road legal version

    UPDATE: ex-boss (Ferrari-owner) got back to me with info.
    See http://www.maranello.cc/All.Ferraris...va-motor-show/
    Ferrari did show a 575 GTC (s/n 2106) and a 575M Maranello, both in Rosso Corsa. The latter featured the new optional „GTC Handling Pack“ which includes carbon brake discs, a new exhaust system with a much “deeper” sound, 19’’ wheels and coloured brake callipers. Basically, the „GTC Handling Pack“ is a more sophisticated version of the „Fiorano Handling Pack“;

    So it updates the Maranello with 'better' based on the race experience. At an extra 20,000 pounds ( sterling not avoirdupois )

    Not sure if it replaces the Fiorano Handling Package, but it appears more was needed to make the 575M really ready for serious track work.

    There are suppose to be 50 special edition road going 575's with the Prodrive race body work on them, can't wait to see those!
