    Noble M14

Rumour has it that Top Gear got their hands on one to test, they pitted it against the Ford GT but it made such an embarasment of it that they never showed it on air! Personally i am not surprised, both Noble and Pistonheads.com said that it was stupidly powerfull!
The best i can do for pictures is here, they wont let me save the images because it is in a flash movie.

it was NOT a minivan !!!

The original was a people-carrier or MPV, it was a million miles away from a van ( unlike the competition of the day )

The F1 was purpose created by Matra engineers working with Williams F1 designers to combine the mechanics of the F1 car and a new body encompassing 4 seats and capable of near F1 speeds

    M14???

Are you sure that it was the M14 that lapped the TG track? I don't think they've got around to finalising the road spec for that model, let alone risked sending a press demo model to be thrashed by the Stig. The rumour I heard was that it was the M400 (hardcore, 400bhp/ton version of the M12) that was taken to the TG track. All of the major UK car magazines have road tested it now and given it mostly glowing reports so it wouldn't surprise me if they'd let the BBC have a go in it.

Also, the rumour I've heard is that the car was only there briefly for the Stig to have a go in it and set a lap time, they didn't actually film a full road test. They'll probably film a full test some time soon and show it at the start of the new series due this Autumn. From lap times I've seen in various magazines the M400's performance is devastating so I wouldn't be at all surprised if it does beat the Ford GT. I'd be very surprised if it beat the Porsche GT though, that car is in a whole different league!
