    Longitudinal dynamics of vehicles

    Hi guys,

This week a teacher put up a full book in english on the school's network for us to learn. Since we are designing a new regenerative braking system for a Mercedes Sprinter he figured it might be handy.

It is a 8MB, 150+ page PDF book on the dynamics of a vehicle. It covers everything, from drivetrain to braking. It is written by the apparently renowned Prof.Dr.Ing. Henning Wallentowitz.

    Enjoy it !

Once fanboyism infects you it impares all your judgement.

    Nice one drakkie! Cheers!

One question though: With the "free" subscription to the download site, will the file automatically get deleted after a certain amount of time?

Nope. But it's probably not really legal to distribute this document.

Ah, it's all cool with me. The reason I asked was because the download site appeared to indicate that unless you had paid membership, any files you downloaded would auto-delete after x-many days.

    Or is that just me?

Yea I liked it too. It does not go into everything too deeply, but still. Very handy to look stuff up in my project as well

As far as I know it won't be removed, if it will be, let me know and i'll re-upload.

For those speaking Dutch, I have plenty more of these kind of books and/or readers. Let me know if you're interested.

drakkie, I have to say that after recent posts which have been deemed to be "debatable" by most, this kind of thing is going some way to redeem yourself.

    Keep-up the good work.
