    My first ever chop

Hey guys. I've been looking through the posts in this forum for a while, but not really posting much. I really liked the idea of your chopping, so I decided to give it a go on a simple car. I didn't want any real AMAZING effects, so I decided to just change the colour, lower and change the rims. Because it was my first ever chop, it took AAAGGGESS to do. Please give me advice so I know what to do next time.

Well, it's really neat, and the rims go well.....I personally don't find much wrong with it. Maybe the experts can give you better advice!!

Hehe thanks for the positive comments guys. I learnt it all today, from going to that site you all talk about. It was awesome. One day, I aspire to be a pro chopper just like you guys.. hehe

Btw, I was amazed at the number and speed of replies because I'm also on this other car forum, and you'd be lucky to have 1 reply by the next day. This place rules!

that's a really nice job on you're first chop, I expect a lot out of you. Next time, play around w/ the saturation/brightness/lightness/etc of the paintjob to make it more realistic.

very nice. A hint tho, try picking an picture with a higher res. You will be able to get your chops much more accurate. Have fun.

    Great first chop!!

Here's a cool side note, to make interesting colours, use 'overlay' in the layers box. Looks really cool

good first chop. the only thing i can see wrong with it is the colour doesnt seem to look too realistic.
