Moto GP to come to America in 2005!

It appears that Yamaha is funding the money to bring the Laguna Seca track safety up to FIM standards. The US GP will be on July 10, 2005 and will be the 9th round out of 17.

You're lucky since you're already in that area. Me on the other hand has to fly across the country, which I will be doing. I will be at that race!

I agree. Just heard the other day about JGTC coming to America next year, that's great stuff. Question though, will they run on the circle track or the infield + banking track layout?

From what I understand, it will be the infield road coarse and NASCAR 1 and 2 and the front straight.

Too bad I live on the other side of the country. I'd love to see the Moto GP machines up close.

Sorry, I spoiled the ending for you....still I hope to see it happen in person. Great move for MotoGP.

anything better than the desolate circuit they used this weekend in Qatar. 36 degrees, only sand around it, next phase will be a track on the moon.
