especially a 7 liter. DAM think of the power they could pull out of that engine!!!!!!!!!! as long as they dont try to make it fuel efficient or whatever and cut down the horsepower. otherwise, we will end up with just another version of the viper (an 8.3 liter can bring out quite a bit more then 500/525)

Yeah plus going on heritage, Shelby never used a 390 Ford in his cars, but I believe a very few of them got the ol 427FE (I could be wrong?)...so it would be a nice hearkening back to the original models.

Yeah they had 428's. But I keep thinking that the '67 Shelby had the 427 as an option in the GT500, or you could have the standard K-code 289 in the GT350 and 428 in the GT500.
