This IS the best car ever built - well it's my favorite car.
160mph and it's 22 years old.

Probably not the best car ever made, but one that many people recognize as the "original" supercar ..... Lamborghini Countach
170+ mph and 30 years old

not my fav, but a cool pic all the same
and another
CLK GTR super sport...will..quite simply own any car on the road
1977 Mercedes-benz 240D 4-speed with 500k miles
180+ mph. and 34 years old. And, best of all, it was affordable (about $5,000-5,500 back in '69). Many people in 1969 were actually able to buy one instead of just dreaming about them!
(1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 426-Hemi.)

the cool thing about those cars was they were just sooo outrageous with their style...that big wing is just nuts heh.

Saddest thing about the '69 Daytona Chargers and '70 Superbirds were they were just too outrageous for the time, and from what I understand sat on dealership lots for ages, some for over a year !
BTW, was that pic taken at one of the Mopar Nationals events?

Where were you ????
Cool, I've never made it that far south (or west), but I've been to a number of "Mopar Nationals" shows in Columbus, Ohio and in Indiannapolis, great shows, great people, if anything could be complained about it would be the American beer. J/KOriginally posted by Fleet 500

I haven't been to a show in a few years - wife doesn't share the same passion - but I have many videotapes and hundreds of pics.
From what I've seen in magazines and on websites, there are quite a few Mopar car shows in most parts of the country.Originally posted by NoOne
