I love the Quattroporte, hate the 612. Simple as that.

Neither is a daily driver type of car so I'll go with the less practical and aesthetically balanced but V12 powered Ferrari. If passengers want to feel real speed thrills they can duck into this massive fish's rear seat and get belted for a proper V12 whooping!!

my conclusion is that these can NOT be compared, who is with meh?
Totally agrre with this guy, are you people blind???? this is like comparing a clk with a Eclass.
that said , i opt for the ferrari, the quatroporte's style too round and looks like a cloud on wheels. the ferrari , allthough not very pleasing to the eye either, is a much better car too look at.
Having seen these two cars in the flesh and bone i can affirm WITH NO DOUBT that the ferrari's clean lines a much better executed.
motor wise the ferrari's V12 is too sweet to even consider the maser's(er... ferrari engine in the maser)

I think if I wanted a four seater I would go for the QP, because, whatever is said about the 612, rear seats are less comfy than the QP's. That that the QP costs about 40% of the 612 is a very convincing argument in the choice as well.
If I wanted a fast sportscar I would not consider the 612. It is too big for that.

Tough choice, because I love both these cars. However I think I'd go for the Maserati.

no... the CL (as far as i know) is build on a shrinked S-class chassis... and both are luxury cars... the only serious difference is the number of doors..
