The roof mechanism looks quite cool though.

Simply ingenious targa design. For simplicity sake the roof just flips open, remaining uncovered. A more finished look might have concealed the flipped lid under a flap. That would take car of bird shits too.

It sucks...reminds me of some of those ugly Michelotto Ferrari's of the past.

I'm beginning to lose faith in Pininfarina after the design of the 612, F430 and and now this....not great stuff.

I like it, but I'd still rather have a Barchetta.

I love it ! Altough they should have designed some sort of cover for the roof when it's folded down (solution to the bird shit problem).

I agree with Piotr, I'd rather have something comfy for my money, but as Ferraris go, that is a really nice car. Prolly my second favorite behind the 456M as new Ferraris go.

How exactly do you know this car to be less comfortable than a Mercedes?

I certainly wouldn't buy this Ferrari, but I have personal reasons such as the fact that I don't especially like the 550/575 anyway, and I am not really a fan of open top cars either. A combination of the two is never going to come high on my wish list.

I don't really think I am in any place to accuse the Ferrari of being anything other than ugly though. Not having the chance to sit in, drive, or even read an informed road test of one - it wouldn't really make sense for me to comment on its level of comfort.
    Thanks for all the fish
