I have a road test of a '60 300-F with that transmission. It had a 413 V-8 engine with the 400 horsepower option (standard was 375).

In the article it said that the rear tires would break loose in fourth gear when the throttle was pushed down over 3500 rpm.

I also read from another source that with that 4-speed transmission and the 400-hp engine, maximum speed through the gears was: 1st 60 mph; 2nd 90 mph; 3rd 120 mph and 4th 160 mph.
