the thing is i just ran dig. on it and got no codes at all so it must be the rear or tranny or driveshaft something in there.

You might want to replace your oxygen sensor... not too expensive, and that's often what the problem is with this kind of ailment
Before replacing your O2 it's worth connecting a volt meter to it to check if it's working (why replace a good one?) whent you are at stedy cruise it should be ossilating at about .5v
