i know i was reffereing to that style as good, whereas scissor doors are different, i know how they open, i meant that the diagonal way is better

one of the practical uses of having vertically opening doors on lamborghinis was so you were able to fully open the door. the doors on, say, the murcielago, are rather long. if they opened out, they would easily hit the car next to you. this advantage is lost on other cars with normal sized doors.

For those who care the type of door used by the McLaren F1, Mercedes benz SLR McLaren, Ferrari Enzo et al are dihedral gullwing doors.

The Koenigsegg has a Dihedral Synchro-Helix Door Actuation.

    The Sera's, SLR's, and Enzo's door's are technically Gull-Wing doors.

As Coventry said, theyre dihedral gullwing (now that i knew) but I knew that they werent simply gullwing. Gullwing goes straight out .. like the 300SL Gullwings doors.

Well with someone like Jeremy Clarkson, Scissor doors mean its alot easier to get into a car if its a very small car.

I think that Lambo style doors are when their original equipment but in very bad taste when added to other cars. I'd rather spend that money on the engine, suspension and brackes

If you own a lambo, you'll never have to park so close to other cars and have to worry about who your doors hit. Just buy the parking lot.

plutus, that comment would work with like a McLaren F1 or something mroe expensive but not a lamborghini. people with lamborghinis arent all absurdly rich. pretty rich, but not absurdly

Maybe in some parrallel universe, most cars have scissor doors and only modified cars and lambos have "normal" doors.
