    Its Daewoo. Daihatsu is owned by Toyota.

    Considering the Viva will probably sell for about $1000 less than the Classic did, i dont think it will be an issue. The price of the car wont necessarily reflect its quality either, just its technology and trim levels.

    i am yet to reach that stage...maybe i need a car to outgrow my n00biness
    anyway, i have a link for you, you didnt happen to subscribe to the carsguide newsletter did you?
    i did.
    there is a photo of the new Viva's in a show room in melbourne
    i dont know how...there isnt even much info out on them, if any...

    on such a small car, how much do you reckon that would cost?

    plus the fact that the 24" rims wouldnt fit under the guards, they would require some serious work

    i read abotu the viva and the new barinas in the cars giude. apparently, despite a good list of features for the value, they drive like crap. i think its sad that holden is willing to give up the small car name it has developed, to a cheap model that is likely to flop IMO.
