If you should see a man walking down a crowded street talking aloud to himself, don't run in the opposite direction, but run towards him, because he's a poet. You have nothing to fear from the poet - but the truth.

of course, any comparison has its flaws, but I think you got the point. There was no need to rub it in....Originally Posted by scottie300z

Moreso with the GM's than the MOPARs as the unibody construction never feels right again, not even after replacing front and rear subframes the car just never feels "straight" again.Originally Posted by "Clevor" Angel

BUT it can be done and often a rebuild can actually be BETTER as it's not limited to the vagaries of the mass production metal stamping and fitting of a manual build line.
Whether it's worth investing the hours to do it RIGHT might be the issue at hand. One of the reasons classic car owners go for agreed value insurance policies Mine could fund a complete strip down, hand-build panels and rebuild in the "agreed value" !!!

that does look bad, though I don't think saying "one less beautiful charger" works....not for me anyway, cause I don't really think charges are all that beautiful.....I would have said...."one less badass charger"Originally Posted by Newbomb Turk

I wouldn't call them beautiful personally. But I do reckon that they look aggressive and have a lot of presence. I think the same about the Alfa Romeo SZ. Ugly car, but aggressive.

Too bad. That was a sharp-looking Charger. And those 440 engines are torque-monsters!
