SPH either the owner changed the wheels on his GT3, or thats a 996 with a wing and a roll cage. those are carrera 5-spokes. such as this:

m-p, i dont know how you can tell what rims they are from that shot but unless he rebadged it i beleive it is a gt3. (ps, he also told me it was a gt3 so i dont think he was lying)

look closely and you can see a 5-spoke star pattern, the shutter speed was just fast enough to freeze it a little bit.

I've seen alot of "fake" GT3's so thats why I was wondering, but usually people will just be straight and tell you it's not a real gt3, so if he told you it's real it probably is. But...I dunno...it just looks off to me, too high a ride height in that 2nd pic.
Not really important anyway though

yeah iirc wasn't there a aero kit released for the carrera to make it look similar to a GT3? badges wouldn't be much of stretch.
that being said, the brakes look like a GT3's i think
