Ouch, a new Turbo . That hurts.
Ouch indeed. Sorry, can't offer third party stills of my recent "experience" and it's silly to repost the in-car here.
So instead, a couple of classic vids of the most-missed pair of corners in racing: Nordschliefe's Adnauer Forest circa 1970.

I believe safety measures are consider on priority. But the people break rules by over drinking, driving in attitude and breaking signals by driving in no entry zone which lead to many crash.
Welcome Brenda, agree with your point raised.
I do think that csl was thinking crashes in motorsport as this thread was raised to sit alongside another race results onw

...and then there is falling asleep at the wheel at 75MPH while driving home after two 18 hour work days in a row.

I haven't crashed anything other than computers and bikes. YET. Though I failed my driving test because the examiner felt I was braking too late despite (what felt like) a two car length space between us and the car in front!
The worst computer "crash" was the ERROR PLEASE REINSERT FLOPPY error I got typing up a crucial document a few hours before it was due. Keep in mind this was back in February 2011. On a computer that only has USB slots and DVD drives.
The worst bike crash was that one time I was biking home late at night on my old bike with crooked wheels and poor, dysfunctional shifting. Of course, I wouldn't have crashed had I not rode with one hand holding a flashlight and the other hand shifting...
I'm dropping out to create a company that starts with motorcycles, then cars, and forty years later signs a legendary Brazilian driver who has a public and expensive feud with his French teammate.
Yup!
I was headed South on California Hwy 101, and had one of those fatigue head nods. I found myself heading off the shoulder to the left. I over corrected to the right, and snap-rolled a couple of times, and then slid upside-down into the hillside on the right. At that point the airbags went off and blew my right hand off the wheel and through the smashed moonroof. Unfortunately the car was on its roof and sliding, so that hand got chewed up quite a bit. Otherwise I was left hanging upside-down from my seatbelt with no other injuries other than a seat belt burn across my shoulder & chest.

I'm sure all Le Mans fans remember this wreck.
